The problem is that most JKD proponents couldn’t handle your average streetfighter or boxer either, because they are too busy worshiping Bruce to train hard.

Obsession over streetfighting got in the way of my enjoyment of the martial arts for years, then I got in one, redeemed myself and now I can enjoy the martial arts for what they are. Streetfighting isn’t hard and staying away from it is much easier.

Please don’t obsess over this sort of minutia.

Karate movements are just to rigid. Who in the right mind would do stuffs like this on a experienced street fighter or experienced boxer

Translated: Karate doesn’t fulfill my Bruce Lee fantasies. Jeet Kune Do allows me to actively worship Bruce Lee and sort of feel like him with 1/20th of the talent and effort. Karate does not do this for me, therefore I dislike karate.

Whatever works for you I guess.

What really is a joke you are. As a person who loves martial arts does not criticize others, Bruce Lee took of each to create the Jeet Kune Do. Your critics are the same of those who try to practice martial arts and are inept when it comes to practice.

Karate is a joke. No martial art is better than Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do

I believe you can never master karate but always remember it as Sensei Funakoshi said “think of everyday life as karate training”
